How My Journey Began

“You won’t find perfection here, but you will find hope.” 

My name is Meg.

I am a Writing Lady and an editor. I graduated with a B.A. in Writing and Rhetoric in 2013, and I’ve been writing since I was first introduced to poetry in fourth grade.

I love rainbows – They stand for hope in the darkest of times; they hold deep symbolism for many people of differing backgrounds, and for many reasons. The main reason is simply hope.

After many long years, I am finally healed enough to begin my writing journey again, with every ounce of honesty I began with over a decade and a half ago.

With a few instances of trauma, loss, and hard lessons learned as my source of perspective, I bring a point of view that many don’t often see at first glance. This brings things to light that might have been hidden for a long time; I look forward to regaining some of our society’s lost humanity, grounding us in courage and fierce love for each other.

I love each and every one of you, and I hope you know that – or, at the very least, find some love here that you didn’t have before.
